Yates Lime Sulphur

A multi-purpose spray that controls a range of pests and diseases on fruit trees and ornamental plants, and also controls moss and lichen on deciduous plants.

How It Works

Forms a protective film of sulphur which prevents the entry of fungus into plants and trees.

Ingredients

15% sulphur as polysulphides of lime in the form of an aqueous concentrate.

Directions for use

Season	Controls	Application
Spring (Aug/Sept – during bud movement).	Pipfruit: Powdery mildew, Black spot, Rust Stonefruit: Rust, Powdery mildew	Use 20ml (4 teaspoons) per 1.5 litres of water.
Summer (After blossoming until 4 weeks before harvest).		Use 5ml (1 teaspoon) per litre of water. Add Yates Sprayfix for improved wetting.
Winter (After leaf fall and before new growth begins).	Deciduous fruit trees, tolerant ornamentals and roses: Scale insects, moss, lichen	Use 100ml in 1.5 litres of water. For pear leaf blister mite control apply just before buds open in spring.

Precautions

Do not mix with other garden sprays.

Lime Sulphur may injure soft plants and cause russet on apples and pears during the growing season. Do not use on apricots or other sulphur shy plants.

Lime Sulphur will stain on contact with walls, fences and other surfaces.
