Yates Thrive Camellia, Gardenia & Blueberry Plant Food
Yates Thrive Camellia, Gardenia & Blueberry Food is specially formulated to grow acid-loving plants such as camellias, gardenias, daphnes, azaleas, rhododendrons and blueberries. Contains essential trace elements for overall plant health & vitality.
Features
- Suitable for a wide variety of plants that need acidic soil (lower pH) to thrive. This includes camellias, gardenias, daphnes, rhododendrons, magnolias, azaleas, kalmias and blueberries
- It provides balanced feeding for stronger, healthier growth, promoting greener foliage and larger, more abundant flowers & fruit
- Add before planting or sprinkle on the soil surface for established plants
- Controlled release nitrogen that slows the delivery of Nitrogen (N), and feeds plants gradually for up to 12 weeks
- Custom fertiliser blend of Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K), plus trace elements to deliver fast feeding
Sprinkle on top of soil or potting mix, and mix to incorporate into soil. One adult handful holds approximately 50g. Always water in well after application. Apply at least 20cm away from the plant stem, for plants in pots apply around the edge of the pot.
Preparing for planting
- Garden beds: 100g/m², mix into topsoil when preparing for planting or transplanting
- Pots: 5g/l of potting mix, mix into potting mix when preparing for planting or transplanting
Young plants
- Garden beds: 15g/plant or 25g/m², mix into topsoil and apply every 6-8weeks
- Pots: 15g/pot (use half rate for pots less than 14cm), mix into potting mix and apply every 6-8weeks during growing season
Established plants & trees
- Garden beds (small size plants): 25g/plant or 50g/m², mix into topsoil and apply every 8-12 weeks during the growing season
- Garden beds (medium size plants): 50g/plant or 75g/m², mix into topsoil and apply every 8-12 weeks during the growing season
- Garden beds (large size plants): 75g/plant or 100g/m², mix into topsoil and apply every 8-12 weeks during the growing season
- Pots (up to 40cm): 25g/pot (use half rate for pots less 14cm), mix into potting mix and apply every 8-12 weeks during the growing season
- Pots (larger than 40cm): 50g/pot, mix into potting mix and apply every 8-12 weeks during the growing season

- Do not apply when maximum temperature is expected to reach above 30ºC or if the soil is dry and plants are suffering moisture stress
- Avoid contact with foliage and hard surfaces, including paths and decks
- To prevent consumption after application by pets, mix into the topsoil and water well
