Hanging Basket Mix

Create cascades of blooms in your courtyard, patio or balcony with this lovely collection of trailing flowers that have been specially selected to give you a long-blooming basket of colour.

Position

Sun or part shade

Sow

Fill a good-sized basket with a quality Yates potting mix. Top with a layer of Yates Seed Raising Mix. Scatter seed on top, cover lightly, firm down and keep moist. Thin or transplant when large enough to handle.

Care

Choose a sunny or lightly shaded, wind-protected position. Water regularly at base of plants. Feed fortnightly with Yates Thrive Soluble Plant Food.

Hint

Remove spent blooms to prolong flowering. This mix contains Lobelia, Sanvitalia, Gypsophila, Strawberry, Verbena and more.
