Primula 'Fairy Primrose'

A vigorous variety with compact, sturdy plants and large carmine-rose flowers. Late winter-spring flowering annual.

Position

Sun or part shade.

Sow

Seed is fine and delicate. For best results raise in trays of Yates Seed Raising Mix. Gently press seed into surface of mix. Cover with glass until germination commences.

Care

Choose an area that is partially shaded, at least in the early afternoon. (The plants will grow well in full sun but the flower colour may not be as intense). Add Thrive Granular All Purpose Fertiliser before transplanting and apply Yates Thrive Soluble Fertiliser fortnightly for stronger plants. Protect from snails with Yates Blitzem.
