Beans Dwarf 'Chef's Choice'

Phaseolus vulgaris

An all-new variety that produces copious quantities of medium size, straight, round, stringless beans. Dark green and tasty, ideal for fresh or freezing. Very disease resistant.

Full sun.

Sow

Warm soils are essential for beans. Sow directly into garden previously worked with Yates Hauraki Peat to improve drainage. Moisten soil at sowing but do not water until seedlings appear. Add Yates Thrive All Purpose Fertiliser before planting.

Care

Give regular applications of Yates Thrive Soluble Fertiliser during growth. Protect emerging seedlings from slugs and snails with Yates Blitzem. Control leaf blight with Bravo; aphids and white fly with Target. Pick young beans regularly to promote heavier cropping. Water well in dry conditions.
