Product details
How
Sow direct where they are to grow or in trays of Yates Black Magic Seed Raising Mix. Firm down and keep moist. Thin out to 10cm apart when about 12cm tall.
Care
Grow in fertile soil in a Sunny well-drained position. Apply Yates Thrive Soluble Plant Food regularly and keep seedlings well watered. Make successive sowings every few weeks. Harvest when bulb is formed and tops wilt. Protect from snails and slugs with Yates Blitzem.
Hint
Companion plant with beets, carrots, cabbage, lettuce, parsnip, roses and tomatoes. Avoid overwatering - seeds may rot before germination if soil is too wet.
Storage
Store in a cool dry place away from direct Sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
