Sweet Corn 'Honeysweet' Small

Zea mays. Convar saccharat

An early maturing variety of the new “Super Sweets”. Large, even cobs with extremely sweet golden kernels. Very easy to grow.

Position

Full sun.

Sow

Direct into garden position only when soil has warmed. Sow 10cm apart thinning later to 20cm. Sow in blocks of short rows rather than 1 or 2 long rows.

Care

Plant in a well drained, sunny position. Successive sowings fortnightly give a continuous crop. Water and liquid fertilise with Thrive Soluble Fertilsier regularly. Pick cobs when fine ‘silk’ has just withered. Protect from snails with Yates Blitzem.

Caution: Seed is treated, do not eat or feed to animals.
