Welcome.

This community blog is open to all gardeners to post anything from a photo of a beautiful flower you just had to share, an in-depth blog post of a garden project you created...or a place to put regular garden updates to avoid overwhelming your other friends on social media!

We invite gardeners of all ages and stages to come together to share their successes, problems, progress, and aspirations. Or, just browse! Your friendly and encouraging comments on the posts already here are very welcome.

Yates Spring Vegie Growing Challenge

After 14 fantastic years with hundreds of gardeners sharing their seasonal ups and downs, the difficult decision has been made to bring the Yates Spring Vegie Growing Challenge to an end.

While this is the end of something remarkable, it isn’t goodbye; we look forward to continuing to watch your gardens grow and flourish for seasons to come. And on behalf of Yates, I want to say a big thank you for all for your contributions to making the Yates Growing Community an amazing space.

Watch this space, for a fresh new look.

The Community is still open, and we welcome all your garden updates.

Gardeners are the nicest people, and within the Yates Growing Community we have amazing and supportive gardeners from all over the country. Find encouragement, motivation, inspiration, no matter where you're at with your garden. If it's a couple of containers on your back porch or a sprawling homestead; if it's a weedy wilderness or a pristine landscape; if you're an absolute beginner or have experience on your side – this is the place for you!
