I have used your luxury lawn seed and have found it is not germinating in the perfect conditions  in Auckland

Our professionals lawn contractor could not get success so I tried again myself
following instructions and patches gave just not taken .

Generally speaking,  early autumn or spring are ideal times to grow a lawn from seed. Most lawn seeds germinate within 7-21 days, but this can take longer depending on the seed type and climatic conditions.

As long as the area which has been newly seeded isn't over-sown. Sometimes if he seeds are too close together they will find it difficult to germinate as they are feeling over crowded. It is also dependant upon the types of seed as some are grown in warmer conditions and others in cooler. That will also have a bearing on the success of growth.

Preparation of the area is the most important aspect of new seeded lawns, next to consistency of watering. Top soil needs to have enough nutrient content to help germinate the seed.  Generally, a starter fertiliser is necessary if the soil is aged or even new. Even if the new top soil you have applied 'says' it has nutrient components, it's not always true.

A good product like Munns Professional Buffalo and All Lawns Starter Fertiliser would certainly help.
