Does NZ have Spotted Wing Drosophilia? If so how do you prevent it damaging strawberries from small worms?

Hi, according to recent information from the Ministry of Primary Industries, this pest is not currently in New Zealand. Strawberries can be attacked by other fly larvae, such as those of the fruit fly or vinegar fly. Yates Natures Way Pyrethrum can be used to control these during the fruiting season. All the best, Yates.
