In the same family as the Swan Plant, Asclepias Silky Mix is also known as Tropical Milkweed. An attractive source of food for monarch butterflies and other beneficial pollinators, it features gorgeous deep red and gold colored blooms.

Product details
How
Sow direct where they are to grow. Scatter seed thinly, cover with Yates Black Magic Seed Raising Mix, firm down and water gently. Thin plants later to 1 metre apart.
Care
Choose a Sunny position. Add Yates Thrive Natural Blood & Bone before planting and fertilise regularly. Protect from snails and slugs.
Hint
Smaller plants can be completely eaten by Monarch Butterfly caterpillars. Remove excess eggs to prevent this. Grow a number of plants to ensure lots of butterflies.
Storage
Store in a cool dry place away from direct Sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
