Sorbet Violet Face produces masses of charming little flowers, with deep purple petals in contrast with crisp white faces, sketched with darkest purple. A vigorous and hardy performer, it is perfect for mass planting, pots and hanging baskets.
Sow into trays of Yates® Black Magic® Seed Raising Mix. Cover well, as seed needs to be in darkness to germinate. Firm down, water gently and keep moist but not wet. Transplant when large enough to handle.
Choose a sunny, well-drained position protected from hot afternoon sun. Add Yates® Thrive® Natural Blood & Bone before planting. Keep well watered and apply Yates® Thrive® Flower & Fruit Soluble Fertiliser for stronger plants. Protect from snails and slugs.
Remove spent blooms to prolong flowering. Flowers are edible and can be used to add colour to salads.
Store in a cool dry place away from direct Sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
