This heirloom-type tomato has flattened, dark red-purple fruit with green shoulders. Flesh is very juicy, with a green tinge. Plants must be staked. Yates organic seeds have been grown just as nature intended, under strictly controlled, organic, chemical free conditions.
Sow direct in warm conditions or raise in trays of Yates Black Magic Seed Raising Mix. Firm down and keep moist. Transplant when 5cm high
Choose a well drained Sunny position. Prepare soil by adding Yates Thrive Natural Blood & Bone or Dynamic Lifter Organic Plant Food. Apply Yates Uplift Organic Plant Food or another organic liquid fortnightlyfor a good yield. Protect from pests and diseases with regular applications of Yates Tomato and Vegetable Dust. In fruit fly-affected areas use Nature's Way Fruit Fly Control.
Great companion plant for basil, broccoli, carrots, celery, onions, marigolds, marjoram, parsley & parsnip. Fruit contains health promoting lycopene.
Store in a cool dry place away from direct Sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
