The Yates Vegie Growing Challenge is open to all vegie growing gardeners of all levels with gardens of all sizes and you can begin sharing posts from your gardens now.

MINI CHALLENGE THREE:  GROW TO GIVE

In conjunction with the Yates National Garden Week, we would like to challenge you to ‘Grow to Give’.  Sharing is caring, and so we would like to encourage you to grow a little extra food to give to your local foodbank or other charity and share the bounty of fresh homegrown food with those who need it.  If it is just popping some spuds in a bucket or planting some extra cucumbers or tomato plants or an entire row of silverbeet, no effort is too small or too big.

Pop over to the Yates National Gardening Week Page >HERE<  to learn more and register to receive a free packet of seeds and then create a blog post and let us know about how you will ‘Grow to Give’ this season.  Don’t forget to tick the ‘Mini Challenge’ box to let us know you want to be considered for this prize.

We will be looking for 3 Mini Challenge prize winners from the 18th October to the 29th October.  It doesn’t affect the overall outcome of the Vegie Growing Challenge but there are some cool prizes up for grabs.

It's a great to be a part of a great initiative to grow a little extra to give to those who need it.
