Autumn days

The hope for a long and gentle descent into autumn seems to have gone out the window in my garden.  The wind is whipping up off the sea and across my garden bring with it horizontal rain and leaving me tucked up indoors with thick socks on.  There are projects I could be getting on with in the garden, but it means I have to brave the elements.

I think for now I’ll stay inside and write lists of things to do, but also brush up all things gardening by reading about gardening in as many books, magazines and online places as I can find.   Although unless it is a trusted website on the internet, it is important to take what you read there with a grain of salt as there is a lot of misinformation to be found lurking there.  One of my favourite websites has to be this one…  just poke about a bit and you will find so much knowledge about so many plants, plus loads of cool projects for the season and beyond.  If you haven’t already checked it out, I encourage you to have a look.

I’m hoping the weather will improve soon enough – I have grand plans and long lists.
