So we just got a severe wind warning for tonight in Northland and I recently put up a teepee for the beans. After some past failures I decided that it needed to be screwed to the pallet to make it through the night. This is for our beans. I planted about 15 old seeds from a couple of years ago thinking that the germination rate would be poor however they have all come up.
Turns out these lazy housewife beans are not so lazy afterall. I always feel bad writing the name of the bean but I kid you not, this is what they are called.
The lazy husband beans don't exist because they never got planted!!!
I have some big plans for bamboo structures this year (one being a wall for the tomatoes). All I need to do now is get permission to cut more of the bamboo on the property!
