This one was indeed difficult to decide, as you are all such kind and generous gardeners in normal circumstances.  But we needed to have 3 worthy winners who took the challenge to heart and intentionally planned to give their extra harvest to those who needed it most in their communities or were already doing it.

With that focus three entries highlighted this charitable spirit and so our winners are:

Jen – she gave such great advice for all of us when donating our crops to the food bank and as a volunteer she is walking the walk already and it is so encouraging and inspiring to see.

Ev in the South – has really thought about this and had already planned what to 'grow to give' what will be of the greatest value when given away.  Her local food bank will be pleased to receive the donations from current and future crops that will come from her small garden.

And finally, the last winner is Tannz – a gardener who also already walks the walk and regularly shares her produce as fresh vegetables or cooked up into something delicious with the elderly in her neighbouring flats.

It is so nice to see such generosity in action from these inspiring gardeners.   Please join me in congratulating them.

For our winners – there may be a delay in the prize packs getting to you due to the lockdown situation, however it shouldn’t be too long as there are reports of earlier prize packs being delivered.

There is one last Mini Challenge still to come and it is a nice easy one we can all get behind, and once again the prize pack is amazing and worth the effort so keep an eye out for your chance to win.

Happy gardening and as always – if you want to get in touch leave a comment below.
