Thank you, thank you, thank you, to everybody who has mentioned this year (as well as last), compost screws!
I finally ordered one from Bunnings and it arrived. I'm not going to lie, as I opened up the packaging and looked at it, I kicked myself for not investing in a 'better one'.
It took me a few days to get around to using it, and oh my goodness was I impressed! So, so easy to use, and it does such a great job! I was that wowed, i even rushed inside to get hubby and show him.
This simple tool is a game changer for me, as I've been a bit of a lazy composter with turning it. The thought of spending half an hour turning it and having a sore back afterwards put me off, so I just didn't do it that often.
If you have a compost pile, you need one of these in your life, hands down the best $20 I've spent on my garden.
I've also ordered the clips for the bubblewrap in my greens house, thanks to Sarah for recommending those. Feels so good to get things ticked off my 'need to get list', while I'm thinking about them, or the seasons gone and I say to myself I'll get it next year, and don't.
And thank you James after your blog, I finally got around to watching the documentary 'Kiss the Ground' on Netflix. It's a very interesting watch, and really has me thinking and asking myself how I can do better.
I just love this community, I'm always learning, and I had never heard of a compost screw until I joined! So thank you :)
