This could be a completely mental idea.... but I have done many a garden plan that has gone totally out the window as soon as I had seedlings to plant, so this year I want to try something different.
I did a little seed ordering last night (Yates - I wish you had an online store for buying seeds!) Then today I have painted a little rock for every seed packet that I will have. The little rock can then travel with the seeds through seed raising and then into the garden.
The next bit is to work out which I am saving seed from, how many days to harvest, quanties for our family, succession planting times, cover crops before and after, and of course where to place them.... part two to follow.
