And here we have a flower of aphids 🙄.
I've been so busy with vegetables it seems I have neglected my flower gardens. I finished doing my watering round and had a wonder around my flower gardens, as they are really coming to life and looking beautiful.
I was so disappointed to spot most of my rose bushes covered in aphids. Aphids are my nemesis, every year my roses get them, as I'm sure a lot of other people battle with them too. I just said to hubby, I feel like pulling them out, as roses, as beautiful as they are, are hard work.
I having taken no hesitation with pulling out the big guns, using Yates super shield rose spray, to try and rid of the little beggars, as they multiply like wildfire.
I usually perfer to take the more natural approach, but I can't afford for my indoor plants to get them or that would be a complete disaster! It says on the container to spray at two week intervals during their growing, so that is what I will do.
But be warned roses, if I don't see at least numbers dwindle next time I spray you, you will be gone I love my indoor plants a little more than you sorry!
