Look what I spied this morning!! The first white cabbage butterfly of the season. I still have lots of brassicas in the garden, so I'm hoping there's not too many more to follow this one just quite yet!
What do you do to try and combat these guys?!
I usually just go on a mass squashing frenzy once or twice a week and I also dont grow brassicas over the warmer months, when they are generally around. In early autumn when I normally plant out my winter crops I try and cover them too.
Is there anything else I could be doing?
