Spring is here!
This year I have a whole new motivation in the garden, we now have a 5 month old baby who will be starting solids soon, so our goal is to give him as much from the garden as possible - the photo is of him rugged up in the pram today about to head outside to watcg me pick some vegetables to to with our dinner - he’s quite happy about it!
I’m looking forward to this challenge with his new motivation, but I have also discovered the lack of time I now have to get into the garden - I thought gardening while full time working was hard, but I have changed my mind now to think that gardening while on maternity leave is harder!!!
I just see the garden calling my name all day, but it’s either too cold to take a baby outside, I can’t get my hands dirty as I’m never sure when he will need me, or his naps are too short… but with spring now here, the days are getting longer and warmer, and soon he will be sitting which I know will be a game-changer! (the rolling started a few days ago, and he’s pretty good at now getting himself stuck on his tummy!)
I’m looking forward once again to ‘meeting’ so many wonderful gardeners and learning along the way, I’ve already enjoyed reading the introductions others have posted!
