I have been blessed with more leeks than one family can handle so I will be sending some home with family then sharing some.
in our neighbourhood we have a little free cart run by the local community garden which has the motto "take what you want, leave what you can" it's a great way to share extras and maybe get something you don't grow.
I have picked up glass jars for jam and donated back when I have extras and now I will pop some leeks in the cart.
It is such a great idea to have a place where everyone can share and receive even if you don't have anything to add.
