Letting things self-seed

I love letting some plants self-seed. It compensates for the hard work put into fancier crops. Coriander and dill now grow like weeds on my patch, which I quite like. Lettuce is establishing itself too, now I'm letting pakchoi self-seed as well. I do like neat rows of vegies, but there is something natural about having edible weeds. Also, bees seem to really like when vegies go to seed

So happy I got a chance to do a couple of hours of gardening after work yesterday, as this weekend the weather will be bad, and I'll be at a beehive building workshop anyway. Can't wait for the daylight saving as there will be even more time in the evening to spend in the garden.

I've planted some sunflowers out and reported a few pumpkins. Had my first 'fish n seaweed' accident yesterday - spilled it all over the sink (house sink, sadly not laundry sink). The stench is real and seems to linger, but the indoor seedlings are worth it.
