At the beginning of the year I set myself a goal of including more flowers and colour in my garden space. I grow quite a few calendulas and sunflowers, but I felt the garden needed more...
Early Autumn I planted a couple nasturtiums hoping they would climb up one of the trellises... They didn't do much all Winter, but now they have exploded and I admire them everytime I'm in the garden.
I have already added some snapdragons, pansies and lobelia as well and I am planning on sunflowers, cosmos and marigolds too.
