I'm so excited that it's finally spring and that the Yates 2021 Spring Vegie Growing Challenge is back!
This will be my second year participating and I am looking forward to it - particularly with Auckland (where I am) being in a Level 4 Lockdown - the Growing Community is a welcome distraction from home schooling!
I have posted a picture of my little greenhouse all scrubbed clean and awaiting trays of seeds which I am very behind in sowing! I had a real struggle over the winter months with powdery mildew taking over in my greenhouse, though I did manage to grow cucumbers until mid-July this year before admitting defeat to the mildew menace!
I look forward to reading the blogs of other returning growers from the previous years and also of the new members of the Growing Community.
I'm hoping this growing season will be a great one for us all!
