So the photo is a photo of our windscreen on Saturday morning. I was horrified to see ice and then turned to the trailer close by which is where our seedlings are hardening off. To my horror the frost was all over them too. Talk about taking hardening off literally!
To my amazement there was no permanent damage. I figured being in Northland I'd be safe. Just not used to this climate yet.
Last night we had torrential rain and I couldn't get any sleep in our little cabin. Again worried about our plants but a check this morning and they all survived.
Not sure how many more bullets we can dodge!
