Better late than never :-/

Emptied all the seeds that had passed their use by date into a big bowl.... leaving me with hardly any seeds.... yikes!

Tonight I will let my fingers do the walking and order up to fill the gaps. I should really have done this in winter.

The day of the spring equinox today, but although I can see the grass growing, there are a few other indicators that I am watching out for to tell me when my soil is warm enough. The first one is the miners lettuce - it starts to go red/yellow. The other one I watch out for is the lilac starting to bud up - apparently that is the best time to plant beans.  Wondering if anyone else has any other useful garden indicators that I could adopt?
