The horse has not bolted. BUT, I did plant a few seeds to kick off 'summer'. On a heat pad, inside, happily tucked up.
In the Greenhouse today I started some sunflowers from saved seed, while planting some of the summer favourites that aren't likely to get sulky too soon. AKA not cucumber, tomato, chilli, peppers. All while worrying my beautiful Cherry Blossom will caught in the windy Wellington approaching!
I also mixed some home saved seeds of Poppy, Aster, Zinnia, and Cosmos with seed raising mix to sprinkle in a few gardens with the hope of something 'wild'!
What garden achievements did you complete this Spring weekend?
