We moved to our new house in the middle of July My Mum is an avid and incredibly successful gardener. Her housewarming present was some Broad bean seeds. According to my Grandad the rule of thumb is to have them planted by Anzac Day but with selling our house the garden was a little neglected.
Always the optimist I threw some bean seeds at the sodden soil and promptly forgot about them. They have emerged with a bit of heat so with any luck we will get some late summer beans.
