Some of you may remember me blogging about a friend who startted her gardening journey last year , there were trials and tribulations but she was hooked .
I finally got around to meandering though her garden yesterday and shes doing awesome , shes remembered so much and this time has all her babies covered from the bugs and elements , her brassicas look awesome and of course we had a we lesson of what next .
For the bigger ones that are cranking along I showed her how to take a few lower leaves of to help promote the forming of said brassica it does not matter whether its a broccoli , cabbage or cauli the idea is a shift of energy for the plant , and a great time to check if anything has entiltlement thoughts , snails are great at getting in nearly anywhere .
She also has the next lot in I showed her that mounding the soil up will give better roots and a much less floppy plant .
I am stoked to say she is hooked and her and her family are going to be enjoying the fruits from her labour very soon .
