Spring is so close we can almost feel it! And I’m keen to get started on all things spring, but yet I’m holding back. Not only because it is still too cold – in my frostless spot beside the west coast the other day was only 10°C at 4 o’clock in the afternoon! But also, I am still desperately trying to get through my winter gardening chores so I can be spring ready for the 1st of September.
When spring arrives, I want to be ready for it, because not only does it signal the start of the growing season, but also the start of the Yates Vegie Growing Challenge. I love everything about this challenge, so much so I have been a part of it ever since the very first one back in 2010 as a entrant blogger and now these days I help Yates to manage it. I love being inspired by all the amazing gardeners that come along and join the challenge and I read every single blog post. I would be quite lost without it, my springs just wouldn’t be the same.
So, if you’re new here, welcome to the Yates Growing Community. If you have any questions or problems or even suggestions pop back to my most recent blog post and drop a line in the comments below. I really hope you enjoy hanging out here with some pretty amazing gardeners.
If you are an old friend of the Community, welcome back and I look forward to seeing your gardens flourish once again.
The Vegie Growing Challenge will be starting soon, so come back often and share all the cool things going on in your gardens.
