I have a few strawberry plants from last year and about forty new plants that I bought this year in their own garden bed.
They are starting to put on new growth and are looking very healthy. I have planted them in a very sunny spot which they are loving.
A few self seeded calendula have also popped up in the bed which I will leave for the bees unless they start crowding out the strawberries
There is nothing we love more than picking our own strawberries in summer for a yummy dessert and I can hardly wait.
