Well I think we'll all agree winter returned this past week.
What a confused climate we live in with this kind of spring weather. Reading all the blogs, looks like we've all learnt from our gardens and hopefully came off mostly unscathed?
My Tomatoes still have a way to go, but I did have these two 'Early Boy' plants needing a new space so I brought one of my air pruning pots into the greenhouse to tide us over! This is my first year using these pots, but I do love air-pruning, and these pots are about that growing method. So with tomatoes I figure it's going to promote production of more roots, growing bigger, better fruiting plants... Anyway, so far, so good. We'll see if production is better this year from standard pots....
.....and maybe there will be a greenhouse..... how did timber get so expensive, to frame our window glasshouse!
