Well I'm sure you've heard of Dynamic Lifter but probably not CCHW fertiliser. Probably because it's still in it's development stage.
Being a combination of Chicken Manure, Comfrey, Horse Manure and composting worms, it is expected to help promote strong growth.
Ok... so what I'm doing is composting chicken poop, horse manure and comfrey together and using composting worms to do the work for me. This year I dug a trench for the pumkins and watermelon and lined the bottom with comfrey. Chucked the chicken poop on top and then wheelbarrows of horse poo. After a month, I planted direct into it and the pumkins and watermelon are going crazy.
I'm trying to duplicate this in a compost bin.
Collected 5 wheelbarrows of horse poo from next door today which I'm excited about. Unlike dynamic lifter, this fertiliser is guaranteed to have weed and grass seeds! However one does not look a gift horse in the mouth.
Oh and I caught a bumblebee pollinating the cucumbers today. I've been worried they weren't getting pollinated but this one little bumblebee would have sorted the lot. They are such hard workers.
