My feijoas have been neglected poor things , so today I started to rectify that , first up a good pruning.
I will take a bit more off at the bottom because the irrigation needs an overhaul .
I started mulching with some of the rotted down hay , I am yet to do underneath at the back , they are acid lovers so I will also put a good thick layer of pine needles down before we get to summer to hold in as much moisture as possible while we're still getting rain .
They also need a fungus spray as I have discoverd sooty mold , hopefully a day of no rain tomorrow to get it down .
