I popped down to Auckland over the weekend and managed to get out on my brothers boat for a fish. The snapper were biting and we ended up with a decent catch.
The frames and guts are now buried in a hole here in Northland. I have fond memories of fishing off the beach with my grandparents in Perth and taking the catch back to bury in their vege garden. Their veges always did well so there must be something in it. Not sure what I'll plant over this hole but was thinking maybe some late zuchinni as our current ones are pretty sad.
In other news our Yates Big Beef tomatoes in the greenhouse are ripening. They have not disappointed us. I'm thinking this big tomato is worthy of going on a homemade burger!
