It does seem November has brought out all the flowers! Last year seemed to be all about the vegetables, with some flowers added in. This November has brought out all the flower gardeners.
I do think we all have a little of veg or flowers in each of us. I don't know of anybody that grows flowers that does not have a little herb garden with the odd tomato or pepper somewhere, and likewise, all us veg gardeners see both value and beauty in growing flowers.
Roses, stralitz, some bulbs, Dianthus, Petunia, alyssum, nasturtians, marigold, calendula, viola, cosmos and many more wild flowers add structure and beauty to the surround here in our garden. Most are blooming and the bulbs are now in there prep for next year stage as they are finished their show.
