Ok, so I HEAR these are edible... they look pretty amazing!
Harvested from my HUGE crop of FOUR red onions 🤭 that I rediscovered amongst the weed growth yesterday morning.
Keen to try so doing an improvised stirfry with the addition of asparagus, garlic and a couple of pencil thin leeks I pulled out yesterday too. Oh and some Ruruhau florets tossed in to just to pretty things up
Presumably they will just taste like mild onions but look more gourmet.
In the meantime am enjoying how they look in that antique eye medicine application vessel ... very attractive!
Anyone else eating these???
