After a slower start to the day, we decided to do some baking this morning. I have a zillion bananas in the freezer that needed used up, so Miss 5 decided to make banana chocolate chip muffins, and we also made a brownie.
While I was hunting in my goodie cupboard for fert and feed the other day, I came across My Little Garden kits somebody had given me a year (or two/three even) ago that I had forgotten about.
I love how much people who aren't gardeners get into collecting these, and they're so fun for kids. I also wonder if those people who aren't gardeners know how easy and cheap it is to grow their own food all year around, not just when the promotion is on.
Even though my kids have access to growing veges and flowers when ever they like, they still thought these were the bees knees. I guess it has something to do with the wee pots that has everything they need and cute packaging.
It will be interesting to see if these germinate as I really have no idea how old they are lol, but nonetheless the kids had fun sowing them.
