So... I was recently tidying up our bank which I planted with wildflowers and noticed these lush green plants that were more like trees. They had not flowered at all and I was starting to suspect they might be weeds.
They are all over the bank and seemed to be spread out and not really random so I decided they must be something I planted.
To my surprise, they have burst with orange blooms and I think they may be some type of cosmos. The plants are truly massive with trunks rather than stems. If you know what this plant is, keen to know as it's different to any cosmos I have grown before.
