The sun is shining here in Northland. Maybe the rumour about this being Sunny Northland is true. Certainly didn't feel like it last summer.
The bees are out pollinating our strawberries. Seeing their little bums poking out of flowers just screams Spring and I'm starting to get excited again. I'm believing for a good Spring and Summer this year.
The fruit trees are starting to blossom.
Our greenhouse is well stocked and we are just starting to prick out the seedlings and give them some more room to grow up big and strong. I feel that we are ahead of the game this year so will be interesting to see if it makes any difference.
The most exciting thing is that the Spring Challenge is about the start again. So looking forward to catching up with fellow gardeners from past seasons and meeting some new ones.
