Our pink popcorn is just starting to flower which is getting me excited. In my humble opinion the Yates Pink Popcorn is 10x better than the yellow stuff at the supermarket.
I noticed a mutant in amongst the ranks. It's the photo at the top right. One of them has a mix of the pollen anthers and silks. It's so bizarre. I'm not sure what will come of it but I shall let it grow. The rest are ok other than a few being plagued by black aphids. Will soon have that sorted.
If you like popcorn as much as we do, I highly recommend this variety. It's pretty cool popping corn that you have grown yourself too.
There is a bit of a process in curing and storing but it's not that hard.
