The garden is drifting along without me

As is my usual trend, I seem to only go into the garden to check on it and make sure it's not getting into too much mischief then cut an edge here or there, pull a few weeds out, clear around something that is being smothered by grass, lose my coffee cup and then I've got something else that needs doing. I get quite frustrated with my very slack consistent gardening habit but underneath all the grass and shabbiness, if I look closely, things are happening. My rhubarb is growing more heads. My fig tree has two figs on it. I have planted several successions of carrots, radishes and peas and they are trying really hard to do well, especially the radishes. Raspberries, strawberries and blueberries are doing well after all being recently moved into a corner of the garden and then neglected again, we will be eating a few handfuls of each this summer. I've been harvesting a rotating micro green crop that is growing on the kitchen windowsill. I've been cooking with chives and parsley, some nearly dead lavender I got from work actually has flowers on it now and there are bees buzzing around the borage I was gifted recently. Many of my asparagus have come up after weeks of me thinking I'd murdered them by planting too early and the lemon tree that clung to life for it's first two years here finally has fruit on it since I moved it to another corner of the garden ( although I will take all of it off except for maybe three). The potatoes are thriving, I could go on but you get the picture. I'm no where near a good gardener yet but one day I'll get there, until then I really appreciate how patient my garden seems to be with me hahaha. My son loves being my helper lately and today asked for his own garden bed, it made me so proud.
