Triffids taking over...

I'm a bit like Stacey, way behind but still plodding along, one seedling at a time. Not defeated just yet... so I wont say goodbye just yet...

Woke up this morning to find the wee 'runt' of the cucumber litter had suddenly started shooting skyward.  So set up a wee trellis and by this afternoon it had already started to wind its tendrils around the wooden slats ( scarily reminding me of a triffid...)

Must have been all that lovely rain we had combined with the blood and bone i put in when transplanting them

The other sulky cucumber's fruit is growing, hoping that will take off too once that first fruit is harvested ( pic in comments)

Also finally planted one of the many tomato seedlings that have been sitting in stagnant water for the last week. Its a patio tomato so popped it in the 'peach pot' by were No Face was relocated to last week. ( pic in comments) Hope it does ok. The rest i have left to drain on the lawn

Will post each bit of progress as it happens... out of zhoosh now so will write more tomorrow with thanks xx

Appreciate you all.
