There was a frost this morning and we are so pleased we tucked in our spuds. They survived the night nicely and today dawned bright and beautiful.
Nice enough that I got out into the vegie garden this afternoon and planted a few babies that really need to go in the ground. A nice patch of frilly lettuces, a square of spinach and a row of dwarf peas. They've all been fed with a seedling dilution of Yates fish and blood and bone fertiliser and hopefully will take to their new home.
I've still got all of my tomatoes, zucchini, cucumber, sunflowers and more tucked away in the mini greenhouses until Labour weekend when hopefully the weather will be warmer and more conducive to getting those babies out in to the big wide world!
