Wheelbarrows of Manure and Sunflowers

Our neighbours across the road are lengendary. They have been collecting the horse manure and piling it up for us and the other day we collected about 6 wheelbarrows full. I've put this close to our compost bin as our bin has composting worms which will make their way into the manure. I've covered it with a tarp and will let it rest for a few months before adding to our beds. With a limited budget for the next few years, this is a real blessing.

Thought I would also add a photo of our bronze shade sunflowers. These are my favourite sunflowers from Yates and this year they have reached record heights for us towering above our greenhouse. What I love about these sunflowers is that they have multiple flowers that shoot out from the sides which means you can pick some for inside but still leave plenty for the bees. I love the bronze colour too.
