We are all suffering the effects of climate change right now and add to that the craziness of NZ spring weather - it's hard to know what you should and could be doing in your garden right now.
I have beans that are beyond ready to plant out into the garden but I'm worried about how the cold will affect them.
I've got tomato seedlings hardening off in my little green huts that I'm not sure will survive a cold snap. There are cucumbers and zucchini and sunflowers and pumpkin that I lie awake in bed and worry about!
Then you see a crazy forecast like this - 21 degree high today 14 degree high tomorrow. Tonights low 8 degrees tomorrow night 2 degrees!!
I'm sure we will get through this but it is certainly a rollercoaster for us gardeners!
