So today I have planted a couple of red Kumara slips.
Not sure how they will go here in Dunedin, but the way I see it is there's nothing to lose!
I've got them in a big half barrel that I've added compost, chicken and sheep pellets and vegetable mix to. It's in a really sunny patch of the garden usually, although today is a bit cloudy.
We will see what happens. Hopefully I can try growing my own slips from Orange Kumara next year. 🤞
