As I had predicted the broccoli came ready all at once and the heads all had to be cut a couple of days ago before they went to seed.
There are still four large heads chilling in the (don't tell SH) beer fridge in the garage. But the other 9 heads have been converted into 22 containers of broccoli cheese ready to accompany meals through the year. We still have four containers of cauli and broccoli cheese from August 23 in the freezer!
This is such a good time of year for preserving food for the upcoming slow season in the garden and I am loving seeing what you are doing with sauces and preserves.
